4. Description Abstract

This paper presents the analysis of two nominal sentence paradigms that show the same formal and pragmatic characteristics, from two types of corpus corpora: comments in guestbooks and Blaise Cendrars’ poems. Such corpus types, having a phraseological aspect, reveal a creative process that can be described through Sechehaye’s « Imaginative syntax ». The paradigms Bonheur / regal / plaisir / irritation des yeux; Un bruit de basse-cour / de vaisselle et de frein / de waterchute / de chemin de fer, will be analysed from a syntactic and semantic perspective, to present how bonheur des yeux and bruit de chemin de fer are both the result of a creative linguistic process.
